Teachers: Find out more about our Educational Field Trips. Called the "Perfect" field trip by area teachers, the Apple Mountain School Days Program is designed to introduce students to a winter sport activity they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. For more information, contact 989-781-6789.

skiers and snowboarders of all levels and ages.
Apple Mountain Rail Jam Series
Back by popular demand, the Apple Mountain Rail Jam Series begins January 4th and continues every other Sunday through March 1st. Skiers and snowboarders compete on a variety of rail designs. Prizes will be awarded to the winners at the end of the series. Open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages. Registration forms are available in the Rental Department. Want a special place to meet friends after school this winter where you an enjoy your favorite winter sport? Apple Mountain offers special rates during the week for all junior, high school and college students.
Tuesday is Junior High School Ski Night
Wednesday is High School Ski Night
Thursday is College Ski Night
Simply bring in your school identification and receive a $12.00 lift ticket for the night sessions beginning at 4:30 p.m. Not valid with any other special or promotion.
Bring in 20 or more of your closest friends and receive a
complimentary beginner ski or snowboard lesson. Pre-registration is required.
Apple Seeds - Learn to Ski Program
Youngsters 4 - 6 Learn to Ski Program is offered every Saturday beginning in January. Kids learn basic
ski maneuvers while having fun on the slopes. The $42 fee includes a lift ticket, ski rental pass and a 2-hour group lesson. Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required. Students will be placed in classes by skill level.
Trailblazers - Learn to Ski Program
Youngsters 7 - 8 Trailblazers' Ski Program is offered every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. beginning in January. The $48 fee includes an afternoon lift ticket valid from 1:00 p.m. to close, ski rerntal pass and a 2-hour group lesson. Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required.
Board Blazers - Learn to Snowboard Program
For youngsters 7 - 8, the Board Blazers' Beginner Snowboard Program is offered every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. beginning in January. The $48 fee includes lift ticket, snowboard rental pass and a 2-hour group lesson. Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required.
Inroduction to Terrain Park Boarding -
Youngsters 7 - 10 learn first hand the fun of terrain park boarding. Offered every Saturday beginning in January at 1:00 p.m. Boarders must have basic boarding skills. The $30 fee includes a 2-hour lesson. Lift ticket and rental pass not included. Pre-registration required.
Apple Mountain's own "Learn It & Love It Beginner Special" -
Recommended for first time never-ever skiers or boarders ages 9 and older, the package price of $55 includes a lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental and a 1-hour private lesson. This special is offered Monday and Wednesday evenings only beginning at 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. This is your opportunity to try something new this winter. Limit one per customer. Not available for groups.

Apple Mountain / McDonald's Learn to Ski or Snowboard Value Vouchers:
Offered in January and February each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. The Discover Michigan Value Voucher program is designed for first time skiers and snowboarders. The program is a great opportunity to learn your favorite sport at an affordable price. Vouchers are available in December at area McDonald's restaurants or Apple Mountain.
Wanted: RACERS
Join the fun - become part of the Apple Mountain Race League. Must be 18 years or older. Every Thursday in January and February, skiers and snowboarders compete. The $12 fee includes a lift ticket and entry fee. Meet afterwards in the Apple Core Lounge to compare race results. Racers sign up in the Snack Bar from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. For more information, contact Jim Schofield at Ext. 210.
Apple Mountain Snowsports School
Contact our Snowsports Coordinator at 989-781-6789, ext. 210 to reserve a lesson on the date and time of your choice. Taught on slope by our PSIA certified staff for a minimum of one hour, lift ticket and rental equipment are not included in lesson rates. Advance registration is required.
