Play Safe at Apple Mountain

Update – Friday, May 8

Following clarification from the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Development regarding the Governor latest executive order, Executive Order 2020-77, players are permitted to utilize golf carts for play! All carts will be sanitized following each use for your safety.

We ask that you continue to follow all other perimeters listed in our ‘Play Safe at Apple Mountain’ guidelines.

With Executive Order 2020-59, Governor Whitmer has extended Michigan's Stay Home, Stay Safe order through May 15, 2020.  However, this order does create a few exceptions that did not exist with previous orders that do affect our operations.

The golf course will be open for play beginning Friday, May 1.

In order to meet health and safety precautions for guests and staff we're asking for your help as we work together to play safely.

  • Golf may be played but carts are not permitted at this time. Players are permitted to use their own push/pull cart; however, they will not be available to rent.

  • Golfers are highly encouraged to book and pay for tee times online or by phone prior to arrival.

  • Golfers must check-in on the south side of the golf shop. Golfers are asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to their tee time. Avoid gathering in the parking lot, outside the Club House or around the chipping/putting greens.

  • No guests will be allowed access to the Golf Shop. Golf balls, tees and merchandise will be available for curbside pick-up/carry-out.

  • Exterior restroom facilities will be available. Facilities will be sanitized with increased frequency.

  • All bunker rakes, ball washers and water coolers have been removed.

  • To limit how far into the hole balls can fall, flags will be in raised cups; do not touch or use the flagstick during play.

  • Holes 5 & 6 will utilize a modified format to avoid use of hill-top tee boxes; follow posted signage on the course for guidance.

  • Follow cart-paths between holes; do not cut through adjoining property when walking from green to tee.

  • No groups larger than four players will be allowed; please adhere to social distancing guidelines. Non-golfers are not be permitted to walk along with a group.

  • The driving range will not be available.

  • Failure to follow these guidelines will result in you being asked to leave property.
